01Acceptance of these terms
By browsing winledger.com, you accept the terms described on this page. If you do not agree with them, we ask that you not use the site.
These terms apply to anyone who accesses the site, whether or not they are a client of ours.
02Who we are
This site is owned by Winledger® International C.A., registered under RIF (Venezuelan tax ID) J-29929576-0 and domiciled at Av. Río Caura, Torre Humboldt, piso 5, oficina 05-07, Urb. Prados del Este, Caracas, Venezuela. We develop and provide administrative and accounting software services for businesses.
03What this site is
winledger.com is an informational and commercial website. Its purpose is to present our products and services, publish content from our blog, and allow you to get in touch with us.
It is not a channel for entering into contracts. The information about products, services, features, or terms that appears on the site is for guidance only and does not constitute a binding offer. Every contract is formalized in writing and separately.
04Permitted and prohibited use
You may view, read, print, and share the content of the site for personal use or for your company’s internal use, provided that you always cite the source.
The following is not permitted:
- Reproducing or publishing our content for commercial purposes without written authorization.
- Extracting data by automated means through scraping, bots, or similar tools.
- Attempting to access restricted areas, other people’s accounts, or internal systems.
- Introducing malicious code or taking actions that degrade the operation of the site.
- Impersonating our company or any person when using the forms.
If we detect any of these uses, we may restrict access, without prejudice to any legal action that may be appropriate.
05Intellectual property
The Winledger® brand, the logo, the site design, the texts, the images, the software, and the blog articles are the property of Winledger® International C.A. or are used with the authorization of their owners, and are protected by intellectual property law.
Browsing the site does not transfer to you any right over these elements. Any use other than those described in section 4 requires our prior written authorization.
06The content is not advice
We publish articles on accounting, administration, taxation, and business management. That content is informational and general in nature.
It is not a substitute for professional advice. Before making any accounting, tax, employment, or legal decision, consult your trusted accountant, attorney, or advisor, who knows the specific circumstances of your company.
Regulations change, and an article may become outdated. We do not guarantee that the published content reflects the legislation in force at the time you read it, nor do we accept liability for decisions made on the basis of it.
07Links to other sites
The site may link to third-party pages. We do not control their content or practices, and those links do not imply that we endorse what is published there. By following them, you become subject to the terms of those sites.
08Forms and data you send us
By using the contact form, you undertake to provide truthful information and not to send content that is offensive, unlawful, or that infringes the rights of third parties.
The processing of the data you provide to us is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
09Site availability
We strive to keep the site continuously available, but we do not guarantee it. There may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures, updates, or causes beyond our control.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any section of the site at any time, without prior notice.
10Limitation of our liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for damages arising from:
- The inability to access the site or to use any of its features.
- Decisions made on the basis of the informational content published.
- Errors or omissions in the texts, prices, or descriptions appearing on the site.
- The content or operation of third-party sites linked from here.
This section refers solely to the use of the website. Liability related to our software and our services is governed by the terms agreed in the corresponding contract.
11Relationship to the service agreement
These terms govern the use of this website and nothing else.
The terms of the Winledger® software—license to use, scope of support, training, updates, service levels, pricing, invoicing, and termination—are those of the contract signed with each client. That contract prevails over any information published on the site.
If something you read here seems to contradict your contract, the contract is what counts. Write to us and we will clarify it.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services or the applicable regulations change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, and the date of the last update appears at the top. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of that change.
13Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Any dispute arising from the use of the site shall be submitted to the competent courts of Caracas, Venezuela, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
